Conference about telescope basics at Deschapelles (IAU-100)

During this year (2019) celebrating the 100th year of International Astronomical Union (IAU), the SHA is organizing a special conference in the Community Library of Deschapelles about the basic of telescope.

This conference will be held on january 18, a friday, in a way to reach mostly pupils from secondary schools, just after their institution school day end. Wre will start at 4: 00 pm and will end probably at 6:00 pm.

According to the clarity of th sky, we may have telescope demonstration since a reflector and a refractore (and even a binocular) will be brought on site.

We hope to ha around 30 young pupuls (and general oublic is invited too).

We hope this introduction to telescope will be an ignition of understanding that we, Haitian, are under one sky, an international one as promoted by IAU.
