Online LSF astronomy workshop on going

For almost 3 weeks, we started an online workshop for an update in astronomy for some workers in the deaf sector. They are mostly teachers and are members of an organization working in this sector (deaf): SANFIL & CAPPA SOURDS HAITI.

The workshop is still ongoing and is mainly done by Whatsapp and Facebook: audios (and also some images and videos) are sent there regularly in astronomy. We use as reference a book on LSF: "THE HANDS IN THE STARS" [Encyclopedic Dictionary of Astronomy for the French Sign Language (LSF)], written under the direction of Dominique Proust. This book was be found in the International Astronomical Union resources.

For the evaluation, we prepare online quizzes for each module and we ask the participants to interpret on video in LSF the key words that we have selected in the reference book.
